Galicia and Brazil sign an agreement at Womex for a musical exchange programme between both countries

In 2010, Galician groups will be offering a series of concerts in Brazil thanks to an agreement signed between the Galician and Brazilian delegations at Womex, held in Copenhagen. The most important fair on the international circuit dedicated to folk, roots, ethnic and traditional music will be closing its doors tomorrow in the Danish capital after a highly successful event for all of the visiting associations and companies.

The stand of GalicianTunes begins its activity at Womex in Copenhagen

[29/10/09] The stand of Galician Tunes has been installed at the exhibition site of Womex 09, held until sunday 1 November in Copenhagen, in order to promote Galician music at the most important World Music fair on the international circuit. The AGADIC (the Galician Cultural Industries Agency) sponsors this stand and provides logistics support for all of the ten recording companies and the two professional associations present at the Danish capital.

Galician music lands at Womex from 28 October to 1 November

[26/10/09] Galician music will be present between 28 October and 1 November at Womex, the most important World Music fair on the international circuit. Ten record companies, two professional associations and the institutional support of the Regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism through the AGADIC (the Galician Cultural Industries Agency) will be presenting all of the potential of modern Galician artists in the Danish capital.

At the Frankfurt Book Fair, Galicia presented the current status of its literary and publishing sectors. The writers Marina Mayoral, Alfredo Conde and Vicente Araguas discussed the topic of the promotion of Galician literature in foreign countries.
